About Cozy Cage Liners:
Fleece bedding is the reusable and eco-friendly alternative to costly and wasteful disposable beddings. My Cozy Cage Liners are healthier than commercial bedding, easier to clean, and more comfortable for your guinea pigs. The liners are made with high-quality anti-pill fleece on top followed by two layers of UHaul furniture pad. This extra-absorbent and lightweight fabric lends itself particularly well for use in guinea pig cages because it absorbs moisture yet remains odorless.
The purpose of the fleece is not to absorb moisture. The fleece wicks the urine down to the absorbent layers, keeping the surface of the fleece dry and odor-free.
Cage liners work best in large cages such as the Midwest Guinea Pig Habitats and C&C (cubes and coroplast) cages. For more information on C&C cages, please check out this website: http://www.guineapigcages.com.

Maintenance:
- Daily or as needed, remove poops and spoiled food from cage accessories and cage liners. Useful tools for this job include plastic spoons, a small broom and dustpan, or a handheld vacuum.
- Regularly wash the cage liners. It is recommend to wash all items every 4-7 days or as needed to maintain a healthy environment free of odor and wetness. First, remove poop, food debris, and hair by vacuuming, brushing, or shaking the cage accessories and cage liners.
- Once you have removed as much debris as possible from the items, wash them in a washing machine with hot water, regular detergent or borax, and about 1/2 cup white vinegar. Dry completely on low to medium heat before replacing in the cage.
- Note: Do not use dryer sheets or fabric softener.
